The Maricopa County Branch NAACP aligns with the position of the NAACP National Office in condemning the recent and horrific violence against Asian American citizens. In light of this, let it be said that we support the dismantling of systematic and structural racism in all its forms.
The Maricopa County Branch stands in unity with any and all Americans who have and are experiencing hate crimes. The Maricopa County Branch NAACP denounces all incendiary rhetoric that creates division and disenfranchisement of all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, gender and/or class association or status.
The call to action is for us to stand in solidarity against those who separate us and perpetrate violence against others that denies them of their rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
